M. Gilligan Syntype From collection: USNM Notes: According to the original description, this species was described from two males and one female from Rouge River, Oregon, end of May 1871. The USNM specimen bears a typical Walsingham type label and is presumed to be part of the original series; we cannot explain the discrepancy in the locality data.
